Champagne and cocktails were enjoyed by property-owners and guests at Vale do Lobo in the Algarve last month when Portugal’s most famous resort celebrated its 50th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, the resort’s Parque do Golfe area hosted exciting entertainment, including musicians, a DJ and the Soul Station band, topped off with a flurry of fireworks before the dancing continued into the night. The eagerly anticipated anniversary event offered a chance for the resort community to mingle under the stars in a stylish setting synonymous with Vale do Lobo and to enjoy a fantastic reception.
The cocktail party was also an opportunity for Vale do Lobo CEO Diogo Gaspar Ferreira to thank the property-owners for their unwavering support over the past five decades in creating a luxury resort unlike any other and to show that the future is indeed a bright one in Vale do Lobo.
Earlier this year, Vale do Lobo was voted as the Best Golf Resort in Portugal at the Today’s Golfer Travel Awards. Vale do Lobo is
home to two championship golf courses – the Royal and the Ocean. Based on original concepts by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton and re-developed by the respected American golf architect Rocky Roquemore, the Vale do Lobo courses have twice been host to the Portuguese Open.
An example of what is currently available to buy there is a charming three-bedroom villa in heart of the resort, within walking distance to the clubhouse and the Royal Golf Course, and on the market for €995,000.
