The end of September saw low-cost carriers launch their summer flight schedules for 2014, making now an ideal time for owners of property in the Algarve to snap up fares there while prices remain low.
EasyJet’s summer flights to Portugal are now on sale, offering some great deals to travellers who book early. Second homeowners should consider planning when they intend to visit the Algarve and reserve their seats in advance. EasyJet flies to Faro, the gateway to the Algarve, from a selection of UK airports, including Gatwick, Southend, Bristol, Luton, Newcastle, Glasgow, Belfast and Liverpool.
Said Cath Lynn, EasyJet’s Group Commercial Director, at the launch of its summer flight sale in September: “We’re pleased that our summer flights are now on sale with almost 60,000 flights to hundreds of destinations between 30 March and 15 June 2014 to choose from. When developing our flying schedule we consider many factors including emerging holiday trends and customer feedback to ensure we’re offering the right choice of flights at a great price. EasyJet also flies to more primary airports than any other airline, taking people straight to the heart of a destination to save time and money on transfers.
